As shown in above picture, Sinseung Tools' heat treatment method involves placing the entire metal blade of scissors, sickles, and small knives into a heat treatment furnace for a period of time for quenching. After quenching the entire blade, the overall hardness remains consistent, allowing the entire blade edge to be sharpened, greatly increasing the blade's utility. However, most other brands of scissors and similar products only conduct localized heat treatment at the tip of the blade (highlighted in red in Figure 2). This results in varying hardness levels between the blade edge and the body, making it difficult to sharpen the body for continued use once the blade edge wears down, significantly reducing the product's lifespan. Additionally, untreated areas of the blade body are prone to shrinkage, increasing the risk of blade warping.
